The first solar eclipse of the 20th Century is incredible. It is a Total Eclipse connecting many empires, past, present and future on the JFK birthday Metonic ( he would be born 17 years later on May 29, 1917).
Beginning in the Pacific at sunrise, the eclipse crosses mexico and hugs the US gulf Coast after exiting south of Corpus Christ (98% totality). It brings totality in a thin line to New Orleans, Montgomery, Mobile and Raleigh--exiting at Virginia Beach. 98% totality in Washington DC. 92 % in New York City, 90% in JFK birthplace of Brookline, Mass.
The eclipse crosses the Atlantic to bisect Portugal and Spain, the first colonizers of the New World--entering at famous city of Porto, where the Romans had established major trading operations in the centuries before Christ. Eclipse bisects Spain almost exactly 402 years after Columbus left on his third voyage to the Americas in 1498, and 400 years after Columbus was sent in chains back to Spain for trial in 1500.
The eclipse crosses the Mediterranean and the path of totality directly crosses Algiers, Algeria, and Tripoli Libya before ending a few miles south the Valley of the Kings in Luxor Egypt, which will be revised by two Judgment eclipses in 2027 and 2034 ---134 and 141 eclipse years respectively... The second eclipse of the 20th century occurs 63 years to the day before the Murder of John Kennedy.
It begins just east of Angola and crosses one of the most infamous slave sources in Africa, Benguela. The eclipse then travels acroos the southern part of the continent, exiting through Mozambique and extreme southern tip of Madagascar. the eclipse path turns north and passes through much of northwest Australia before dying out.

The total solar eclipse began in the islands of northern Japan 9 days after the worst natural disaster to ever hit Japan, the great earthquake of Sept 1, 1923, which killed nearly 150,000 people and essentially destroyed Tokyo and Yokohama. Two empires are linked by the path, which would be at war with each other 19 years later. On January 24th 1961 19 year old Bob Dylan arrives in a snowy New York, with friend Fred Underhill. He goes to the Cafe Wha. It is a hootenanny night, and he performs a couple of songs. The Wha’s owner, Manny Roth, asks the audience to provide them with a place to stay for the night.

Why Bob Dylan? Born Robert Zimmerman on May 24 1941 to Jewish parents descended from Lithuanian and Russian stock. Probably the most influential and controversial poet/musician since King David. The most significant popularly known entertainment figure in history to consistently incorporate Biblical themes and apocalyptic prophecy in his work. The most fully realized and recognized songwriter of the popular era, and also a musical and world historian. The most famous Jewish Christian since the Apostle Paul. One of the best gospel songwriters of the 20th century. A master of riddles and story, whose techniques resembles the storytelling techniques of eclipses, living outside of and through time. Along with Elvis, perhaps the most simultaneously mocked and imitated performer of all time.An example of maximum expression, which does not imply righteousness, but rather the existence of example in story. His last release in 2020 is the 17 minute epic Murder Most Foul about the killing of John F. Kennedy. Dylan performed Blowin in the Wind at the March on Washington in 1963 led by Martin Luther King. Elvis Presley had an enormous impact on The Beatles and Dylan and three are usually considered together when discussing the most popular performers of the rock era. His very first billed show occurred on July 30, 1954, exactly a month after a total solar eclipse in the USA (June 30 1954) which featured 97% coverage of the sun in Hibbing Minnesota, 75 % in Liverpool and 67% in Elvis's birthplace of Tupelo Mississippi. He sang "Blue Moon of Kentucky". at that show. Other than that, it's difficult to establish any reasonable links between Elvis and eclipses.
